Madison & Christopher’s Save the Dates

Anytime I get the opportunity to create something special for a friend, that project immediately becomes a favorite for me.  So when my dear friend (and co-worker at the time) Madison asked me to create the save the dates for her wedding, I jumped at the opportunity.  

Madison wanted something romantic for her save the dates with lots of swirls and a pop of color.  She often wore this beautiful shade of mustard yellow so we decided to make that the statement color for the front of save the date.

The back of the save the date was designed to stay black and white to save on printing costs, so to break up the space, I used a variety of romantic fonts and the bold banner at the bottom.

On May 31, 2013, Madison and Christopher were married, and I had the incredible privilege of coordinating the wedding.  Everything was beautiful and most importantly, the happy couple had a special day to start their new adventure!
